Description
A picture of Trinity Episcopal Church (located on 6th and Oak street) from the late 1800s/early 1900s. The church was badly damaged in a fire on March 17, 1902. During the fire, a choir boy and several woman from a sewing group ran into the building and were able to save important pieces from the church, including a gold cross. After the fire, the congregation decided to build a stone church at the location where the church stands today.
