This scholarship was granted to W.S. Ladd on August 9th, 1869. Ladd received a full scholarship for $500 dollars to attend St. Helen's Hall School. The scholarship is signed by Bishop Benjamin Wistar Morris. St. Helen's Hall School began in 1869 and this is one of the first scholarships to be given.
