Description

Mary Rodney directed the operations of the St. Helen's Hall day school and boarding house. Rodney worked with her sisters Lydia and Clementine, and was the sister-in-law to St. Helen's Hall founder Bishop Benjamin Wistar Morris. St. Helen's Hall opened in 1869 and Rodney served as principal until her death in 1896.
